Wonderfully helpful staff, great location,...

Liked: The staff was wonderfully accommodating and kindly offered us a free room upgrade to make up for an unrelated hotel’s poor treatment of us. We were turned away from our previously booked hotel upon arrival because of an overbooking issue and had to scramble to find something else last minute. In the end we were very happy to have found this hotel as we were treated extremely well, the room was large, comfortable and clean, and the location is perfectly situated on a quiet peaceful street near the historic district as well as many public transit options. The breakfast was simple but perfect with a nice selection of breads, pastries, cereals, jams, cheese, meats, hard boiled eggs, etc. Would definitely choose to stay here again on future trips. One of the employees even went out of his way to find us a screwdriver so we could fix a broken suitcase.
Disliked: Nothing

Good location & nice little...

Liked: Staff were great. The woman that welcomed me, was especially great. Super friendly - offered me a drink while I waited for my room. Location was great. Very quiet, but close to where I wanted to hang out.
Disliked: Big cob web in my room. I didn't notice it the first day, but I noticed it the 2nd day. It was too high for me to reach, and I forgot to mention it to the staff the next day...it was there right to the end. Luckily there was no spider with it! ;-)While I liked the place, I think having someone around 24hrs would be great. My last night there was an issue. None of my power outlets were working. My lights worked and my A/C worked, but I couldn't watch TV, work the hairdryer (luckily I didn't need it), recharge my phone, and I was limited with how long I could use my laptop (needed it for work). My other issue is that my room was quiet at night, but it wasn't during the day. There was some staff room next to mine and people went in and out. It was a bit disruptive - but ultimately not a big deal.Small little thing, I am use to hotel doors locking automatically when I close them. My door was a fire door, so because of the hydraulic, closed very slowly, and you had to really pull to close it faster. The door did not lock after you closed it, and I am sure I had left it unlocked several times before I discover that it didn't lock. My fault for not checking, but it would be handy to be told this on check-in for future guests.

Our experience staying at la...

Liked: It was a well decorated small boutique hotel , situated in exactly the right location , quiet ,small street with access to the main triangle of Bordeaux in mere minutes , with loads of restaurants cafes and pubs and hundreds of boutique shops , and a large Local supermarket. Staff were so lovely and friendly , ready to assist you with any of your needs . The rooms were spotless , the cleaners were great and so efficient , missed nothing and we are very picky with cleanliness at . It was amazing to us , especially being so far from home , where life is quite different .
Disliked: The rooms were spotless but small , we did have a of lot luggage as we were travelling for 4 months . We originally had an upstairs room , it was light roomy and lovely , but the spiral stair case with very tiny steps , was an accident waiting to happen for us seniors . However , the next day the owner Ben , moved us downstairs cases and all , while we were out touring the city of Bordeaux . It was so lovely of him , he also provided us with the necessities for a week long stay . The room change was necessary for our safety , but it certainly wasn’t as roomy or light as the first one . However , the owner did bend over backwards to make our 7 day stay pleasurable. Breakfast was great , service was faultless , although I’m more used to bacon and eggs for breakfast than cereal bread cheese and prosciutto and pastries , it was very fresh and plentiful . No question about that .

The Hotel is clean, quirt,...

Liked: Hotel is centrally located, and quiet. The rooms were both comfortable. Ben and associated staff were courteous, friendly and always ready to provide assistance as needed. Breakfast was good. Close to a convenient store which stays open until midnight. There is also a public laundromat nearby for those who want to stay longer. A few good asian and French restaurants within comfortable stroll from the hotel
