Vienna's oldest hotel is located directly in the city center only 164 feet away from Saint Stephen's Cathedral and in the immediate vicinity of many other sights. Founded in 1746 Hotel König von Ungarn (King of Hungary) first served as the guest house of the archbishop and is especially popular with cultural travelers and lovers of opera concerts and theater. The name was inspired by the Hungarian nobility who used to stay here in the times of the empire. In the adjacent Mozart House Mozart composed “The Marriage of Figaro”. Quaint historical hotel

Liked: Nice large room overlooking the inside garden. Nice amenities in the room.
Disliked: Mine was an early arrival. It would have been nice(r) if I could access the room a bit earlier but it is nothing I can hold against the hotel.

Superb

Liked: The staff were very welcoming. Specially those at the breakfast. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Location is great.
Disliked: The view from the windows. The room was extremely hot without turning on the heater.
