Disappointing

Liked: The rooms are basically oldschool apartments converted into hotel rooms, so they are quite big. The bed was fairly comfortable.
Disliked: Cold: In the middle of winter, the only heating in the room was a wall mounted aircond which didn't really work, so we were freezing at night. Overall this is more of a hostel than a hotel. Also by the time we checked in at around 8pm, there was no reception and had to get the instructions for the key over the phone.

Three nights in Dresden

Liked: Beautiful period hotel that survived WW11 built in 1884. Very close to Dresden hauptbanhof. Friendly staff and good sized rooms

Liked: Location very close to the Metro. Super bonus for us
Disliked: The owners said we couldn’t check in early which we knew already and we were fine as we were going out to explore Dresden. We wouldn’t be back till 9pm. We left and I forgot something in my bag 5 min later and we went back. There was a different person at the front desk and checked us in. Definitely language barrier.
