Great anniversary weekend stay.

Liked: The staff was excellent and really friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location was great, but the room was really small for the price. The hotel was clean but the carpeting in the hall could use an update. We loved the art and design of the restaurant and bar. We would definitely stay there again but at a different one of their properties that has a larger room for the price.

It was overpriced and underwhelming.

Disliked: It was incredibly noisy and the room decor did not look like the advertising. When I called to complain the front desk made no effort to apologise or rectify.

A hotel with multiple locations...

Liked: The finishes. The proximity to restaurants. The bed was comfortable
Disliked: Price for what we got. No instructions for television. No service, really. Pillows weren’t great. Out of Kleenex.

The worst value for money...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Not what was sold via booking. Not in the main hotel and some 500 meters away. No staff assistance. For the asking price - outrageous.

Liked: Excellent choices.
Disliked: Wanted to watch network tv and I did not know how to do that with the preset remote provided. That was quite disappointing.

Lovely boutique hotel with large...

Liked: The main hotel is nostalgic, and well thought out. Very nicely renovated. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices for all different tastes. The room was simple, pretty, and very roomy. We appreciated that the windows open for some fresh air. The locations we all downtown, offering easy access to shopping and eating.
Disliked: We stayed in a different location, just 2 blocks away and was a little disappointed that there was not a common area/lounge to sit and read a book, or an ice machine. We also could not figure out how to use the air conditioner, but opening the window was good enough. Again, not staying in the building that has the main desk was a little strange for us. Please be aware, when you book a room, you might not be staying in the main building where all the amenities are located.
