It was overpriced and underwhelming.

Disliked: It was incredibly noisy and the room decor did not look like the advertising. When I called to complain the front desk made no effort to apologise or rectify.

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Not what was sold via booking. Not in the main hotel and some 500 meters away. No staff assistance. For the asking price - outrageous.

Disliked: Wanted to watch network tv and I did not know how to do that with the preset remote provided. That was quite disappointing.

Lovely boutique hotel with large...

Liked: The main hotel is nostalgic, and well thought out. Very nicely renovated. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices for all different tastes. The room was simple, pretty, and very roomy. We appreciated that the windows open for some fresh air. The locations we all downtown, offering easy access to shopping and eating.
Disliked: We stayed in a different location, just 2 blocks away and was a little disappointed that there was not a common area/lounge to sit and read a book, or an ice machine. We also could not figure out how to use the air conditioner, but opening the window was good enough. Again, not staying in the building that has the main desk was a little strange for us. Please be aware, when you book a room, you might not be staying in the main building where all the amenities are located.

Disappointed. We expected more for...

Liked: The room was comfortable and the continental breakfast was well done.
Disliked: We had no hot water in the shower and were unable to use it. We were not compensated for this. Check in is inconvenient and two blocks away. Had to wait 15 minutes to check in as no one was at the desk. No coffee maker in the room. No luggage rack. Three floor walk up no elevator.
