The location of the hotel...
Liked: The location of the hotel is great, close to the sea. It's not far to the main square either. The breakfasts were delicious and filling.

Too expensive for this hotel,...
Liked: Price vs value , too expensive for this type hotel, it should be in 60€ range.

Nice stay
Liked: We arrived at the hotel on New Year's Eve. It is far from the train station on foot and with luggage. They welcomed us kindly and invited us to a New Year's Eve dinner and champagne, which was a great surprise, we were very happy about it. The room was very small and had no balcony, even though I booked a room with a balcony in the reservation. I didn't want to spoil the mood by complaining, it was late, it could have been a full house. There was quite a lot of crosstalk from neighboring rooms and corridors. The breakfast is very plentiful, with a wide variety of delicious food. Our luggage was looked after while we explored San Marino. Overall we were satisfied. It hurt a bit that we didn't get a room like the one we booked.

Excellent value, friendly, helpful staff and clean, comfortable amenities - brilliant location close to the beach.
Liked: It was very convenient. The staff were very helpful, especially in finding a secure place to store our bicycles overnight. The one thing we miss in almost all the hotels we have stayed at in Italy is an electric jug to heat water for tea and coffee. The room was small but it had all the amenities including air conditioning so we had a very comfortable night. It was excellent value. I would definitely recommend the King Hotel at the budget end of the spectrum.
Disliked: Mentioned above, the lack of an electric jug but this seems to be the way in Italy.

Lovely stay
Liked: Marvellous breakfasts, always very yummy, comfortable bed, very nice hardworking staff, perfect location by the sea, close to the centre, and by a great restaurant too... Very easygoing owner willing to help his customers. The room had air-conditioning.
Disliked: The shower. Not flexible, fixed high up,can't really wash well nor in a pleasant way. Too small shower corner...luckily we weren't too big... The air-conditioning was loud so we had troubles sleeping while it was on ...The room's window shutters were over their best... it wasn't possible to roll them up and go to the balcony at first,it got at least half fixed. Allover, room cleaning maybe done way too well and too often... I don't need a new bedsheet every other day and towels everyday...waste of energy...but I guess that is what hotels do... :(Btw, heating shouldn't be by the ceiling.....physics.
