Loved Krakow and Hotel Jan...

Liked: A great location for our stay in Krakow as we easily walked to everything we wanted to see and there were lots of restaurant choices. Breakfast at the hotel was great, lots of choices for all types of diets. The bed was comfortable although I never like the thick European comforters and bring my own bedsheet always. The double pane windows cut out noise well, there was very little traffic on the street and people walking by were generally not boisterous.
Disliked: There was a floor bump outside my room unmarked that was easy to trip on. It needs to be a totally different color or have warning strips attached. Rooms 5a b and c are behind this bump.

Would definitely stay again

Liked: Excellent location, just off the main square. Spotlessly clean. Very spacious room & bathroom, super comfortable bed. Room serviced daily. Friendly & helpful staff. Good choices available for breakfast

I would pay a bit...

Liked: In a great position in the old town and a reasonable price. The room was huge and bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: It was a strange mix of styles and could do with updating in most parts. The breakfast was ok but I wouldn’t bother if I went back. Some staff were lovely and others barely looked up at you. Also we pre ordered a packed lunch for our day at Auschwitz but it hadn’t been done and didn’t seem bothered, so had a last minute dash to a shop to get something to take with us.

Liked: Everything was good. The room is really comfortable, and very very quiet. We had a window towards the inside, and although no view of the square, the silence was amazing to have a good night sleep. The breakfast was also really good, and a big variety of food, fresh salads, fruits, pancakes, etc etc. And the location could not be better. Highly recommend.
