Exceptional

Liked: All the staff were super friendly and helpful, we were in a disabled access room as my sister has a few mobility problems, she accidentally caught one of the alarm cords in the bathroom, and we received a call from reception asking if we needed assistance within a minute, very impressive thank you, also Sammi in the restaurant/bar really friendly. Breakfast was amazing and wonderful choice.
Disliked: Water in bathroom sink tepid room 223 however shower great.

Liked: Up-to-date boutique feel hotel. Room functional and pleasant. Bed reasonably comfortable.
Disliked: Ground floor area small, no extra comfortable space to chill with a drink. The breakfast restaurant is used for everything, breakfast, bar area and anything else. Outside signage leads you to believe a trendy bar awaits but doesn’t really cut it.

Liked: Everything was spot on with our stay. Room was lovely set up for us location was excellent for us all and breakfast was great it was set up for everyone in our little group.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: Not enough staff, one member of staff working the bar and kitchen, had to ask for service and then wait, for the price we paid would have expected better! Also paid for rooms not on the ground floor which we ended up getting and could hear every noise from above! Although a nice clean hotel I would not stay again

Very good

Liked: Great staff. Room really nice but compact. Breakfast really good. The location is great if you can walk 5 mins into town. The hotel is in the quieter part of the city and has a car park that’s a godsend. Have used before and would use again. Posher hotels in York definitely but its price pointed well. Absolutely zero issues.

Liked: Excellent customer care, great location and good rooms
Disliked: I just felt the room could be a little cleaner (the rugs and sheets etc) but this really is nit picking. Overall the cleanliness was good.

Ok hotel, wouldn’t stay again.

Liked: In a good area, it was quiet, comfortable and convenient.
Disliked: The parking situation wasn’t adequate, the breakfast was basic and expensive for what’s offered.
