The room was not the...

Liked: The location
Disliked: The room we were given was not the room we picked (Standard King), it was dark, had one window which faced walls and measured only 180sqft. I have added a photo which was taken in daylight hours when it was sunny with a blue sky outside. The hotel staff weren't very accommodating when we told them about the room after arriving, they said that there were no other rooms available, we checked out early and the manager apologised and admitted that there were other rooms we could have been moved to.

Overall, a quiet area of...

Liked: Room was very adequate. Tastefully decorated and the room was on trend in style.
Disliked: Beds are full size for 2 people. It made for tight sleeping arrangements.

Liked: The location in downtown is great; close to and subway stations, piers, and Brooklyn Bridge.

Could have been better if...

Liked: The receptionist was lovely, good location. Room was small but nice. Really liked ambiant lighting and TV.
Disliked: When I booked I believed breakfast was included. I was sitting in the foyer the first morning and working and I asked for a coffee for which I was being charged I think nearly $7. The waitress was not very kind, and proceeded to drink coffee in front of me when I realised it was not complimentary. Felt the place was very mean.
