Liked: Location great for transport and sightseeing. Excellent breakfast which was cooked nicely and served to the table quickly. Staff were all very pleasant, friendly and efficient. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and recently refitted. A bright light in the wardrobe was useful, especially since the rest of the room was very poorly lit. Maintenance requests were carried out very quickly and efficiently and already rectified when we returned to the room after having breakfast.
Disliked: It was dark in the room and we were unable to read a book easily. All the lights were dim with red shades and positioned at the edges of the room and in corners or alcoves. A light in the middle of the ceiling would be more effective. The only towel rail was under the sink so a rail for larger towels would be good. No instructions for the coffee maker . A kettle would be a simpler option. The fridge in the room didn’t get cold and smelt of plastic.
