Very tired after two nights...

Liked: Room clean apart from a rug which was stained and grubby looking.
Disliked: We were duped as there were major roadworks outside the hotel right under the room window. The noise of heavy machinery such as a still saw kept us awake through the night. We should have been advised of this at time of booking

Enjoyable apart from stairs!

Liked: The room had all we needed. The bed was very comfy, we slept well. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast good.
Disliked: In our part of the hotel there was no lift and a lot of stairs, it was like a warren. The signage was hard to understand. I was never informed there was no lift and I find steps a problem. And the unclear signage meant we walked even further up and down stairs! I think the hotel should make it very clear there is no lift in that part. I definitely wouldn't stay in that part of the hotel again, it was very frustrating the way this wasn't made clear.
