Good hotel, good location and...

Liked: Quirky hotel with lovely original features throughout. Dining room was very nice and our evening meal was excellent. Hotel nice and quiet, good location easy walk into the centre of town and the cathedral. Easy parking at the hotel (additional charge). Enjoyed our stay

Liked: Location was perfect for access to the centre and the Assembly Rooms where I came to watch a show. Loved the breakfast made to order.
Disliked: The room was a little dark due to no ceiling lights. My vanity mirror didn’t work so it was trickier putting makeup on in dim lighting!

Liked: Friendly staff and very functional for whay we needed
Disliked: Lighting in the rooms was insufficient/very low

Highly recommendable.

Disliked: The room although very comfortable and well appointed the was too dark. A more powerful bulb in the standard lamp would sort it.
