We just did a local overnight stay and the room was perfect for that! Nice size and proximity to great restaurants. We chose self park across the street to save on the valet parking amount and then were charged for two days because we parked at 3p.m. and left at noon the next day. They said it would have been $14 if we parked after 5pm the day before!
Liked: Spacious room layout; fabulous bed; great location!
Disliked: No vent in the bathroom!

The room we reserved online was not actually available at the hotel; the staff was rude and not very helpful; ended up giving us a smaller room for a bigger price. No free parking - we had to pay for a garage all weekend; there are no vending machines which is not convenient for people who drove hours to eat there; the room was mediocre and none of the promised channels were on the TV; you can hear everything going on in the hallway around you which is uncomfortable. There has to be better hotels in Dallas. Do not stay here.
Liked: Nothing special.
Disliked: Everything.

This was a very cute hotel in Downtown Dallas. The beds were so comfy and the cafe/bar had really good drinks and eats. The Bishop Arts Flatbread was delicious. This hotel was in a great location downtown and very convenient to our music venue, The Bomb Factory. They even had a shuttle to take us there.
Liked: Location!

Great location to downtown Dallas and Deep Ellum. The room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. It was really good and the ladies that worked there were sweet and very hospitable. Cute hotel. Oddly the desk staff didn't know anything about the parking garage (platinum parking) that was connected to the hotel where we actually parked. Since the hotel said they had parking we thought that was where we were supposed to park. Then we found out they use Elm parking garage. Also everytime we walked in the lobby it smelled funny.
Liked: Convenient.
Disliked: Smells funny.

Parking (or lack there of) is not the best. There are parking garages (which accommodate "small" cars). If you drive a full size truck, your only choice is to pay $10 for uncovered (access for the alcoholic homeless bums) parking. But watch the clock - it states "$10/day", however your $10 "runs out" in the middle of the night. If you don't want your vehicle towed, you'd better pay $20. On the other hand, and in their defense, they really have no other option, especially with the location of the hotel.
Liked: Nice rooms; comfortable/cozy; AC/Heat better than most; food is wonderful.
Disliked: The only thing I can say about it, not positive, is the cost. It's a little steep.

The two rooms that I selected with king beds were not available at check in. They were not willing to change rooms even though my paperwork said I was to have two king rooms. Very disappointed!
Disliked: Not what I paid for.
