Excellent location. Had breakfast at Wetherspoons as a lot cheaper and close to hotel. Will return to the hotel as it's clean; excellent room and shower; staff very helpful and friendly; what a beautiful city is Cardiff is too.

Disliked: Mattress on bed very uncomfortable, passed its use by date. Shower needs re grouting in places. No where to hang your towels on in the bathroom. Socket there for heated towel rail but no towel rail for bath towels.Buffet breakfast was poor. Food in crock pots on warmers that kept cutting out. Lid was on bacon so it sweated, Baked beans cold. Ordered off menu, kippers. Kipper was lovely, poached eggs luke warm at best.

Liked: Very spacious room and central location for shopping at the High Street. The bed is superb and not the usual soft one without support.
Disliked: Water pressure can be low at times.
