The hotel was great. The only complaint I have is the outdated hair dryer. It smelled like something burning, and my hair got tangled in the back side of it. I had to rip out a substantial chunk of my hair to get free.

The weather was cold, the hotel was cozy and beautiful. Loved the quietness of the room. The complimentary shuttle was a huge perk. This was a great choice and will stay here again.

Wonderful historic hotel, great downtown...

Liked: Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Corner king room was gorgeous with huge jet tub and separate shower.Bright and airy. Black out curtains for the win!Staff is kind and courteous.
Disliked: The elevator has a mind of its own. Randomly stopping at every floor and long waits for its arrival.

It was a decent stay.

Liked: The ambiance in my room was nice and I appreciated the luxe features in the bathroom especially the spa tub.
Disliked: The smell of the room was off putting and it felt stuffy, I was surprised there were stains on multiple pieces of furniture, the noise from the street made it difficult to rest, and there wasn’t much of a view.

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay. The location of the hotel to the Astros stadium is very close room service was great comfy beds will be returning. Had an issue with billing but got immediately resolved by their friendly staff

Liked: Downtown transportation to restaurants provided by hotel shuttle was fast and convenient. Great service!
Disliked: Only one of two elevators working. No service elevator. Long delay time and frustrated guests made otherwise enjoyable hotel experience just decent.Like older historical hotels but common areas in need of refurbishment.
