Liked: Great location close to transport, shops and restaurants. Very helpful staff.
Disliked: If you have a large 20-25cm shower head, you can't have a 3cm drain in the floor. In a very short time, the shower water floods out on to the bathroom floor. Short showers, less than 5mins, only.

Disliked: I had a worst experience. First of all, fire alarm went off early in the morning in the different room so we couldn’t sleep. Breakfast service was below average. Cleaning staffs were using the lifts at the busiest time so the guests had to wait for the lift longer than usual. We went back to bed after the breakfast because we couldn’t sleep and the construction started around 9am. I called the reception and the staff were unhelpful. I couldn’t relax at all. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and I’ll never stay at ibis hotel ever again.

Nice, convenient budget hotel

Liked: The hotel is in a great location. Easy to walk to from central station and also easy to walk into the city centre and the harbour areas.Staff were lovely and friendly. There was a nice, easy atmosphere. It is an excellent touch that there are both a microwave and a fridge in the room. Fab. Nice refurbished bathroom. Beds were lovely and comfy. All staff were polite when you met them in the corridors. Nicely done entrance bar area.
Disliked: Room was a little tight on space once you got 2 large suitcases in there. Some of the hotel areas could do with a little updating (breakfast area). It is not obvious if you are allowed to use the stairs ( I prefer to walk up). Breakfast a little basic but still enjoyed it and the coffee was great.
