Amazing stay!

Liked: Just an amazing small hotel. We loved the concept, vibe, staff, bed, rooftop bar/seating area, location, and value. Staff was out-of-this-world nice and helpful! We missed nothing. This will no doubt be our go-to hotel in DC!

Great stay at the conveniently...

Liked: The hotel was conveniently located near to my DC office and offered all the comforts needed in order to have a good stay. I stayed in the Buzz Queen and it provided enough space for me to have my suitcases and all my toiletries readily available. If I'm visiting the office in DC again, I'll definitely consider the Hive. Great location, great room and bed, and generally clean. The area is very safe as well.
Disliked: No complaints really. Just heard the front desk staff talking sh*t about me for not saying 'good morning' to her that one time but otherwise it was a complaint-less free stay.

The hotel was cute and...

Liked: The hotel was cute and in a walkable area with lots of transit options. Having the bar and restaurants in it is great but they all close at 10 so we weren’t able to eat there. The beds were very comfortable although we booked a queen and it was more like a full size. The best part of the hotel was the staff!
Disliked: There is no parking! Parking is paid in a near by paid parking deck. When we were leaving we couldn’t get out the machine stopped working and we had to call an attendant down from another floor to take our payment and let us out. As for the hotel it’s self…It is a micro hotel and the room is tiny! There’s no storage so all your things are just out. It was fine because we were only there one night, I would not have wanted to spend more than a weekend there. The room was fairly clean but the shower floor looked gross and the wall and shade had something very questionable on it. If you have a room that small there is no reason it shouldn’t be spotless, including the walls.

Great place to stay on...

Liked: Very friendly helpful staff. Comfortable, quiet room - which is no small feat in that neighborhood! Great location for my work meetings, and also near numerous decent places to eat at different price points and metro to get to other parts of town.
Disliked: Only a couple of tiny issues. Eg. They only had small cups for the self-service coffee starting at 0600, so I had to make three cups each morning. Had my spouse come along, I would have needed another bar for hanging clothes.

AMAZING STAY!! GREAT LOCATION!! 5...

Liked: The staffs were AMAZING, DD the concierge was so helpful and kind. She checked us in and immediately ensured what our visit was for and how long was the stay. She guided us to all the great places to explore and restaurants. She also ensured our room was at our comfort. Literally that’s the best part of the hotel experience, how amazing and very kind the staffs were. I give them a A++ for being so helpful!!!

Best romantic getaway ever!

Liked: Wow, just wow. I took my husband to DC for the first time during Veterans Day weekend (he's a veteran). I asked them to do something nice for him to feel special. They all went above and beyond. Everyone is super nice.
Disliked: Everything was wonderful. I don't have one bad thing to say.
