Disappointing

Liked: It is functional I guess, and I like rooms with bathtubs.
Disliked: So it is considered a four star hotel, but: 1. Receptionist doesn't speak any English. That is incredibly unexpected. How can a four star hotel in such a modern town as Baden, one of the biggest towns in Austria, not speak English? 2. Internet was broken, and the solution was just a simple apology with no compensation other than "it works in the lobby", but even that wasn't true the whole night. 3. There is no bottled water in the room and no decaffeinated coffee, and in general basic amenities for a four star hotel, like no minibar and a small TV, and not so extravagant decoration. Overall it is disappointing, but I didn't pay much on the Sunday night I stayed. Never pay more than 80 euros for this hotel. Choose a different one.

Pleasant

Lovely hotel in the centre...

Liked: The location and view are lovely as well as the architecture. The bedrooms are large and I had a veranda with a full bathroom and bathtub.
Disliked: The reception closes at 7 and there is no restaurant or bar. The pillows are poor and I need 3 to feel comfortable

A pleasant and charming place...

Liked: A pleasant place in the center of a beautiful little town. The spirit of the past is visible and stretches through the hallways, carrying the charm of romantic, somewhat forgotten times of balls, ladies and gentlemen, and noblemen.
Disliked: I got up a bit later, around 9, for breakfast. There were no scrambled eggs, so I asked for some, but the lady kindly replied that there were none left. Aside from that detail, the breakfast was good—tasty and varied.

Liked: Beautiful old design with high ceilings and spacious rooms. Good breakfast in a lovely hall with massive stain glass window
Disliked: The pillows on the bed are terrible.
