Liked: The location in the historical center.My obsolete room had view on Ponte Vecchio.Nice staff - they offered me a later check out (few hours) but NOT complementaryRoom service
Disliked: It is an old hotel, the room is dated but clean, poor facilities (no kettler for ex.) but the central position is a real advantage.

Good. Except for the elevator.

Liked: Basically, everything is quite satisfactory. The only trouble is the Stairs leading to the elevator to go up to the Reception on Floor 5 and to the rooms. For travellers with many large luggages can be a real challenge. Yet, if the hotel can arrange staffs to assist on the luggage, it would take care of this shortfall.
Disliked: Stairs leading to the elevator. The elevator system is very old and can go to a certain floor, only one at a time. Not practical at all.

Liked: These were magical days in Florence. The hotel is located in the very center of Florence, near the famous Ponte Vecchio. There is a wonderful rooftop restaurant with delicious food and a stunning view of the city's main landmarks. The staff deserves the highest praise. The hotel is clean and cozy. If we visit Florence again, we will definitely stay here with great pleasure.

Liked: Once we found the Hermitage the location was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Location by the Ponte Vecchio bridge is superb. Uffici and the Duomo just a few steps away.
Disliked: The Hermitage is a hidden gem. So well hidden that it took us three hours to find it. Even the navigation system in the car could not place it. The last 45 minutes on foot in 42° centigrade. Not very healthy. We had to carry our luggage up one floor to the elevator which was very cramped.
