Liked: The property is nice and tastefully decorated, we got a nice room with a renovated bathroom, but other family members had two other rooms on 3rd floor and they were not so lucky: bathrooms were outdated in both cases. The ventilation in our bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned… there were a lot of mosquitoes! I was surprised to find them on the 4th floor.

Liked: 1. Fantastic location.2. A lovely looking period building.3. Friendly helpful staff.4. Breakfast each day was very good.
Disliked: 1. The entrance to the Hotel is via a rather nondescript side entrance at pavement level which we would not have found without directions from the taxi driver.2. We arrived mid-evening after a long day of travelling and could not find the Reception as it is on the 2/F & there is no signage. No staff were on duty but after wandering round with our suitcases for a while we bumped into a staff member who checked us in.3. On our second night (Friday) the noise from the top floor bar was so noisy it kept us awake til the bar closed around 1am, & even though our room was several floors down.

Liked: Central location, right by the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio, super comfy beds, lovely friendly staff, nice interior design.
Disliked: Nothing - well maybe more choice of breakfast items? But that is about it! Would absolutely stay here again!

Disliked: The lift didn’t work, the reception is on the 5th floor. I would have appreciated being asked if I needed help. During the night there were extremely loud noises from the floor above (kitchen?). The hairdryer is very old.
