Overall I can recommend.

Liked: There was some flexibility about the check out, as well as an offer of coffee before breakfast, which we declined.The room was a lot cleaner than what I am used to from this price category.
Disliked: The housekeeping removed "trash" from the room that wasn't trash. Receipts we used to split food cost on the desk (unacceptable in my eyes), German bottles and cans that have a monetary value because of the deposit system (I'm okay with it, but it should not happen), and a sturdy, reusable stainless steel straw still in one of these cans (again, unacceptable in my eyes).We did not have time to talk to staff about this, since we had a very full schedule and left before the reception opened again. And even with these "losses" it's still cheaper than the alternatives we had.

It was a very uncomfortable...

Liked: It was a good location and well connected to the city centre.
Disliked: Rooms were very shabby, bathroom was not clean. It was terribly hot when we went and it was 32 degree C outside. But there was no air conditioning. When we asked for a fan, they said they don’t have any. Later they gave a very small fan which didn’t do the job. We were suffering from the heat all night. Bathroom did not have hand wash and the shower gel was diluted with water. No other toiletries. We wanted to pack breakfast as I was fasting because of some tests but they refused. No TV in the room.

Lovely retro room

Liked: We only spent a night, but it was perfect for us. It is a bit old, but still a good place to stay. Very kind staff.
Disliked: A bit old, but nothing to complain

Liked: We asked for our second stay a room on the other side of the road and it was much better and calm.
Disliked: The hotel looks like taken from the 80s. It needs to be refresh, definitely. The liquid soap on the sink was broken and just on the sink. Into the shower, the gel was dropping 24h. The room and the bathroom were more or less clean but not at 100%. No TV, no fridge, no air conditioner or fan. They had no shutters. For breakfast you have a choice of salty and sweet products. The juices are not real juices. We stayed a few days and the products were always the same. Fresh products like yogurt, salad with mayonnaise (!!!) , cheeses and charcuterie are just on the buffet at room temperature. Sadly, and not surprisingly, we both had a very bad food intoxication at the end of our stay and we missed more than a day and a half, staying at bed. We realized were actually a few persons sick in the hotel, at least 5 persons with the same symptoms, including the breakfast manager. Too bad we finished a not very fancy stay in a bad way.

OK if you are easy...

Liked: The team was very nice canceling our first night for free due to a last minute cancelation of our trip. Very close to a tramway station. They change every day the towels, even if they are not on the ground. The team can be rude sometimes, but attentionate at the same time.

Ask to be on the other side of the road, at least on summer time. Cars are passing by every time and it was hard to sleep with the windows open. The light of the street was just on our window and they had no shutters. For breakfast you have a choice of salty and sweet products. Too bad the juices are not real juices. Good value for money, nothing...

Liked: Comfortable double bed, nice explanation of how to behave at breakfast :) Breakfast was simple, but there was from everything a bit..salamis, cheeses, ham, cornflakes, plain yoghurt, apples, watermelon, bread and rolls, eggs, even some cakes were available.. Quite big room. Good location near tram and subway.
