Liked: The bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. They had a great breakfast, though most of the baked goods were gone by 8:15 AM.
Disliked: They would open our windows during the day, which let in spiders and humidity. The shower didn’t seal so the whole bathroom got wet, and it never dried due to the high humidity. The worst part was that you could hear all of the noise of the lobby, breakfast, and Reception from our first floor room. We got very little sleep.

Great hotel and friendly staff...

Liked: A fabulous small hotel in Essen Borbeck. Peaceful location but nothing was too far away using public transport only. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn’t mind a little bit of walking.
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Fantastic staff, great restaurant & close to a nice park
Disliked: The rooms were very warm with no aircon

Liked: Good breakfast, good selection. Staff made a real effort to make the stay enjoyable. We were at an exhibition with rooms requirements changing at the last minute, the staff really worked hard to move rooms around to make it work.
