I liked it , and...

Liked: The location and the quirkiness of the hotel . staff were amazing couldn’t do enough to please the beds were so comfortable ! The waitress Marie in the restaurant was so lovely, and the concierge lad again was so amazing and polite he couldn’t do enough for us said he loved working there and only been there 6months but a real credit to the hotel !
Disliked: The theme of the 50s sumptuous feel just didn’t work due to it being shabby in places and stains on seats around the hotel and outdated even for the theme , could do with a refurb to get to a feel of the luxury you would expect from an Art Deco hotel the bar area was dark and cold also coffees were not hot at all , my room was lovely the Bankers suite , but the lighting was either too bright or too dark and it was cold , could do with being able to dim them ! Lots of work was being done on the outside of the building too so finding it and trying to park outside for the concierge wasn’t that easy !

Disliked: Not that I didn’t like it, but just a lot of up and down in the lifts, can’t be helped really
