Underwhelming and disappointing, feel exploited.

Liked: Scaffolding around the building was unsightly, we had to keep the curtains closed in the morning due to workmen outside our bedroom, we were looking forward to using the rooftop area due to the excellent clear evening however there was a private function on so unfortunately we couldn’t. The so called smart TV had no apps available to stream through my phone , which I found really strange when even the cheaper brand of hotels have this facility and finally on the negative notes why am I being charged £7.05 extra on my booking for the cleaners etc, I only stayed one night , I didn’t use any of the facilities such as room service of bed roll back, I personally think this is quite disappointing, are the customers supplementing poor wages, tips are for offered by the clients not forced by the management, personally I felt exploited, I had a similar incident in a restaurant, in total I paid £25 for good service which was almost expected for one night stay and a meal. On a positive note the bed was comfortable and shower facilities excellent. To summarise not the experience I was looking for, over priced and a little ordinary, a bit of a let down, would I stay again only if the prices drop to what it is worth.

Liked: Breakfast was probably the biggest problem. Cutlery & crockery were all dirty. Food was not replenished at the buffet.

Disliked: The constant loud banging and clapping plastic sheeting covering the building combined with the clanking metal on the scaffold poles right outside the room windows, which kept us awake all night.
