Good value for central location

Liked: The room is basic. Most rooms have a shared bathroom. Only a few have private bathrooms. The location is near Roma Termini train station, so it's convenient to get around. I've read other comments about staff not speaking much English. The man who was on duty for the majority of my 6 nights there speaks more than adequate English.
Disliked: There are no outlets near the bed. I had to run an extension cord (which I carry when I travel) from across the room to be able to charge my phone while laying on my bed. The street noise overnight can be annoying. It's not people per se. I think it was more garbage or recycling bins or laundry carts being rolled through the streets that were the most annoying for me. I either got up to close the window or put in ear plugs.

Disliked: My room(20) had windows facing the hotel next door. They had floodlights on all night which shone directly into the room. The shutters on the outside and the light curtains inside did not keep the light out of the room. They may need to add some blockout curtains as I needed an eye mask to sleep.Otherwise a nice place to stay

Disliked: Relatively small bathroom and soap was handed out in very small “envelopes”.
