This design hotel is centrally located in Berlin's central Mitte district just 164 feet from Checkpoint Charlie and the Friedrichstrasse shopping street. It offers free WiFi modern rooms and great transport connections. Located in the Stasi secret police headquarters in the former East Germany Gat Point Charlie is an industrial structure featuring minimalist-style rooms. Great place to stay

Liked: Easy to find, excellent location, helpful friendly welcome. Practical functional room with plenty of space, very clean and tidy. Great selection at breakfast with friendly bar staff.
Disliked: We could not fault any of the services provided by this hotel

A perfectly fine hotel for...

Liked: Quiet, clean rooms of reasonably decent size. The breakfast is quite decent, and there are a few restaurants and bars in the surrounding area as well. Polite staff at the reception.
Disliked: Somewhat surprisingly, even in Germany you might encounter a bartender who, before the official bar opening time (4 PM), quite grumpily refuses your order. But then again, we all have our good days and bad days. Also, not to directly criticise the hotel itself, but unless you're a devoted fan of Checkpoint Charlie, this location isn't exactly the most exciting.
