This design hotel is centrally located in Berlin's central Mitte district just 164 feet from Checkpoint Charlie and the Friedrichstrasse shopping street. Don't get your hopes up....

Liked: Location was good, the hotel bar was Ok, room was quiet and spacious (paid extra for a bigger room). the patio behind the dining room was nice and quiet.
Disliked: staff ignored us when we were walking by, Brita water dispenser stopped working for a few days on our floor, on one of the days the cleaning staff left us with no towels, the key to the room stopped working too many times (at nights especially).

Met our needs

Liked: Great location, easy to walk around different historic sites, the room was big and comfortable. There is also great Italian restaurant just outside of the hotel and Vietnamese restaurant on the same level of the hotel. Breakfast is pretty standard but has many options.
Disliked: The decor of the hotel is a bit odd but that's just nit picking, overall it was a good stay.
