Located in Paris' 17th arrondissement Hôtel Gaston has been decorated in a contemporary style by Anne Lise Dees one of Philippe Stark's former collaborator. It is 1.2 mi from Avenue des Champs-Elysées and 1.6 mi from the Grands Magasins area. It offers free high-speed WiFi. The modern soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms offer a TV and have no building opposite. Each also features a private safe and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. All rooms are serviced by the hotel's elevator. A buffet breakfast or express breakfast is served every morning in the convivial lobby. Guests can also choose to order room service. Additional facilities at the hotel include dry cleaning and fax and photocopying at the 24-hour reception. Very good

Liked: Small rooms, but that’s expected for the price. Good, safe location with a couple of nice restaurants and a good bakery across the street. Very good room cleaning service.
Disliked: A kettle in the room or access to free hot water should be a must have for all hotels

Liked: Very welcoming staff. Room small but adequate. Location ok eady to get buses or tram.
Disliked: Noisy.. particularly from above. You could hear everyone walking.

Great place to rest for...

Liked: Comfortable, quiet: I slept very well.Good breakfast.24h reception meant I could celebrate late on the last night.
Disliked: Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:00 but was still being set up at 7:45

Pleasant small hotel with good...

Liked: We found the location to be convenient getting around Paris - just a 10 minute walk to the metro stations (Pont Cardinet for line 14, Wagram for line 3). The rooms were cozy. Our room had an interesting layout with the toilet (just the toilet, no sink) separate from the rest of the bathroom, but we got used to this quickly. The 24h front desk was also convenient.
Disliked: The soundproofing of the room was subpar and I definitely recommend packing earplugs as not to be woken up by people in the hall (I was woken up by sounds as small as keys being put in doors).
