Good but be careful which...

Liked: The hotel was a good location for walking to Las Ramblas and the harbour (approx. 10 minutes for both) and to the Montjuic cable car (15-20 mins).Security was very good.
Disliked: Our room on the 5th (top) floor - there was a generator (or similar) above the room which ran 24 hours a day and could get annoying when you're trying to sleep.Request not to be in rooms 508-511 which I'm thinking could all be affected. We were in 511.

great location near the metro-easy...

Liked: I am sorry to not have his name, but the desk reception staff were extremely helpful for providing info for getting around town, using metro and restaurant suggestions. The pillows were soft and the bed and bedding comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast had a great selection.
Disliked: Need a better rooftop lounging area. The hot tub was cold water which was great for me but most were looking for a hot "hot" tub. Not enough chairs for sitting.
