Lovely hotel Ideal for Auschwitz...

Liked: Everything, Very good value for money. Nights stay before Auschwitz tour early next day with spa access and great hot/cold buffet breakfast. Evening Meal in the Bar/restaurant was also Excellent. Short drive to Auschwitz 10 minutes
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The breakfast was perfect, wide range of choices. The location was excellent. We had car parking as well. It was well equipped.
Disliked: We couldn't charge our mobile phone next to the bed, only under the table.

Liked: It would have been an ok hotel if the price was half of what we paid.Lots of free parking.Staff on the reception was nice and helpful.
Disliked: The hotel is on a busy street with lots of noisy traffic. If you get rooms in the back building, it might be ok but the front building is terribly noisy. We got a front building room above the restaurant.It might have been renovated 15 years ago, the bathroom was dated, carpets have seen better times, very small shower, tiles loose. Beds need a new mattress that won't have a dip in the middle. Room was cold and there was a very distinct draft from the roof window.The breakfast was meh, small selection of sweet breakfast options. A lot of stuffed eggs, Russian eggs, fish,.... It was regional but not to most people's taste.Wellness and spa has seen much better times. Only 1 towel for the whole visit and it was quite dated (also brown, white would look much cleaner). The hot tub reeked of chlorine, dry sauna was cold, another one was switched off. The herbal sauna was ok. I would not pay to visit this spa.
