DON'T GO!

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: They gave me a room that smelled like smoke and made me pay 190 euros for the cleaning showing me some old pictures claiming it was me and when I refused the aggressive woman started talking down to me German style-extortion! Great scam! Adding 190 to the bill-how many times have they done it? The single room made a jail cell look big!

Very cosy and comfortable!

Liked: The restaurant was excellent! The staff accommodated us for dinner even before they opened and served us a drink until opening.

Very disappointing. Looks like a...

Liked: Very well located far from the city noise, on the edge of the English Garden.Very quiet.Fresh fruits (welcome gift) when we arrived.Nice people at the reception.Free parking (even though was full most of the time).20 mins from city center and close to highways.
Disliked: Daylight goes through the curtains so if you're not an early riser and you like to sleep in the dark, you'll be awake at 6:30AM.Bedroom (we had a Junior Suite) is a bit outdated for a 4 Stars hotel. Furniture, curtains, bed looks a bit old (carpet on the floor).Although it was announced as free soft drink in the mini bar, there was no mini bar, hence no soft drinks.A nice lady at the reception offered to give us soft drinks but since there was no one at the reception past 11PM...Coffee machine in the room: no Nespresso capsules. We asked if we could get some: the answer was the same for two days "we ordered some, sorry it hasn't arrived".Bathroom was very small (for a 4 Stars hotel Suite it's uncommon).Pet friendly at the cost of 25 euros per night!!!TV sound was very low and we couldn't increase it (was blocked to a max).Wifi is very slow.(Free) parking lot in front of the hotel was always full because of the restaurant customers.Bed was very soft (springs) and not a real King size bed but two single beds ut together. No balcony (as advertised).

Munich Highlight

Liked: We had a garden room and even though it was a bit rainy, it was lovely to be able to open the doors and enjoy the view. Service from the staff was excellent. Dinner at the restaurant was the highlight of our time in Munich. Highly recommend eating there.
Disliked: The room was large but reckon they could take out the pedestal table and one of the chairs.

Very good

Liked: restaurants and staff were excellent. Breakfast was good but the hotel charged 26 euros for it, in spite of an expensive room. Location was great; near a transportation center that carried you all over Munich
Disliked: Charging 26 euros for breakfast. The room was small.

Loved that we discovered a...

Liked: We liked that it was charming exterior. The restaurant was very good for dinner. We were able to walk to a wonderful beer garden.Sankt Emmeramsmühle (Saint Emmerams Mill) is a historical site, a restaurant and traditional beer garden by the Isar canal in the north part of the Englischer Garten in Munich.Housekeeping staff was the friendliest in hotel
Disliked: Front desk staff were not rude but definitely not friendly. Advertised a shuttle but in reality was given directions to public bus. We were isolated without a car.
