Disliked: Hotel Staff, horrible customer service.. NEVER AGAIN! especially the valet parking and day time Receptionists staff. Omg what a horrible way to treat people. I booked a room according to what booking. Com and I ended up on the 3rd floor, "Penthouse room " away from the hotel. Technically, I was on the roof that the room looked like Pigeon House. 4* hotel? Not even a 3* ... The hairdryer was broken, the elevator as well, not iron to press my clothes. Every single question/ needs asked to the receptionist was a problem and a big NO . Also, there were no room amenities such as shampoo lotionetc., and the conditions of the room were deplorable. We waited 50 minutes to get our car, and no one in the reception was holding accountable. We arrived 20 minutes after the wedding ceremony started just because the valet parking staff were arguing with each other about the tips. I technically paid for 3 nights to be mistreated, and my friend and We never felt comfortable. That hotel needs urgently a different management. Booking.com should warn their clients about this place. NEVER AGAIN! I SHOULD BE COMPENSATED FOR SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Liked: LOVED the location, staff was INCREDIBLE, beautiful old historic building (it was a little dark because of that), had a bar with a bartender who was like a concierge, Luis. He gave me all kind of great tips and suggestions. Jaime the General Manager was very kind and accommodating, the restaurant attached was actually quite good and reasonable prices. Rooms were very basic but functional.
Disliked: Bathroom window opened up to the main hallway. Awkward.

Horrible and unsafe stay.

Disliked: 1) They didn't respect the price set for the booking, for a room with a full bed (only 1 bed)2) The room was dirty as I never seen an other before, (pictures included in the review) you will see. I reported, the room as soon I returned from a event, (that I had planned, and the reason for the visit) around 7:00 pm ( I arrived at 12:00 pm and make a very quick check in at 3:15 pm maybe)3) The mattress was horrible.4) According to the person in the front desk on the night of October 22, 2024, (around 7:00 pm) they do not have an other room available, unless I upgrade to a room with 2 beds, they only can offer an other room the next day after 3:00 pm.5) The door lock do not look safe at all. (picture included)6) The morning of 10/23/24. I found 2 hotels with near location for less money and clean rooms, I tried to cancel the that night, (that I paid with card) but the refuse to give me back the amount on cash, and offered an upgrade as solution again, because the hotel didn't have a clean single full bed room available, on that moment. (around 11 am, almost 11:30 am). So I reply that I didn't need a 2 beds room, and if they cannot provide a clean and safe room: " give me back the money in cash, because I found a two hotels with clean rooms near to them" and request a hotel personnel to came with me to check the room, and show the filthiness'' guess what happen?7) Magically appears 2 rooms less filthy and with better door lock, at 11:24 am maybe, they show me both on the moment choose to stay in one of the, because the location it was extremely convenient only.8) They try very hard to charge more and force me to upgrade, 9) I stayed there 8 years ago, it was a acceptable experience, that's the reason I stayed again in 2024, but never more.10 Never book a single full bedroom in the hotel, again in my life.
