Liked: Great rooftop views of the city. Loud if there is a band on the roof until 11. The bathroom had black mold throughout the grout and aged features. We paid $102 Canadian and it was more like a $60 value.

Perfect place to feel the...

Liked: The location was great.. in the heart of the city. within walking distance of food and points of interest. The hotel was wonderful.. full of character, history and charm.. love the Juliet doors. The staff were very accommodating and were full of knowledge about the history of the building and info about the city.
Disliked: The bathroom needed updating. I didn't like that the bathroom window opened into the hallway..

Liked: The location was amazing, couldn’t ask for a better place right in the center of the historic district! They have a terrace with a higher viewing area for gorgeous views of the cathedral and the Degollado theater, day or night! The hotel itself is beautiful with a very comfortable and inviting sitting area in the lobby! We had the standard quadruple room with a balcony and views to the government palace and the iconic Guadalajara sign. It was a dreamlike experience to see the balcony and hear the city sounds along with various musicians drift into the room. And the staff!.. They were very attentive, hospitable, and were there for you whenever you needed anything! Overall, amazing people and great hotel!
Disliked: The rooms could use some modernizations. One of the electrical outlets was not working and there weren’t that many more either. The bathroom was a little small and could also be modernized. Regardless, it was still nice and the experience was great!
