Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Tampa

The hotel was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast bar was amazing. Had a really great time and will book another room in the future. Was easy to get to the Amalie Arena. Short walk.

It was close to the Amalie Arena; nice clean room at a good rate. It was hard to see the TV at that distance. The only hotel I have stayed in in many years that did not have coffee service in the room. I would stay again if I had a need to visit downtown Tampa.

Liked: Clean rooms; very nice old hotel.
Disliked: No coffee service in room; TV too far from bed.

Exceptional

Liked: Walkable to Ybor City, bus transportation close.
Disliked: I would not leave at night, a lot of vagrants near by.

Liked: Bedroom, mattress, quietness of the room, cleanliness, modernized room.
Disliked: The parking is paid and additional tips are also required. There is no pool. The entire building is being renovated, there is dust on the sidewalks, and there are puddles of water. To get the suitcases into the cart you have to go all the way around and go up the back elevator. No one helps you open the door. Breakfast was not included, you had to pay, they only gave us a discount of $15 per day. The breakfast took a long time to arrive and the coffee was cold and the espresso machine was broken. The coffee shop was closed on July 4 and 5, we had to find somewhere outside. We lost a pair of sunglasses in the room. I called the hotel 4 times to ask and no one ever took charge. No one looked for or called us to tell us if they had found it in the room or in the parking lot. Low level of customer service by the staff. They need more corporate training.
