Liked: Very comfortable and clean, in a great location close to the river and the metro. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English Good restaurants nearby.An extra bonus the shower was excellent

The lack of hospitality and...
Liked: I was really looking forward to staying at Hotel Félicien and Spa, especially since I had been in communication with the hotel prior to my booking to ensure our stay would be special for a birthday and anniversary celebration. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I had hoped.Before our arrival, I was assured that something special would be arranged in the room to acknowledge our celebrations. However, upon check-in, there was nothing at all to make the room feel special, which was extremely disappointing.Additionally, I had confirmed via email that our room would be on the 5th floor, as part of an agreed update, but when I mentioned this at check-in and showed the email thread, the receptionist refused to accommodate the request. To make matters worse, she also refused to let us pay for a room upgrade on the Sunday, despite us having already paid for it.The lack of hospitality and attention to detail completely ruined what was supposed to be a memorable and joyous occasion. If we had known the service would be so poor, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere. This experience left us deeply disappointed and made our special trip to Paris far less enjoyable.

Disappointing
Liked: The manager was lovely and very helpful. The spa was very private which was nice and I like the effort the manager had made to make up for the let down at the start of the trip.
Disliked: Staff that we was met with was very rude, I bought a package and had been chatting back and forward with the manager who assured me it would be perfect didn’t even receive the package and was charged for it twice over which then had to be refunded which ruined a surprise I had for my partner and was not a great start to the holiday.The room had a hand print on the door wall, the bathroom window was mouldy and there was a crack in the TV, the spa could do with touching up in the pool area.
