After walking to find the hotel, we stopped to ask directions from a different hotel, which turned out to be the Holiday Inn Express except they changed names and failed to notify us before hand. The wifi wouldn't work even though the front desk tried to fix it. The room was disappointing as well considering the price we paid. We would not return or recommend anyone to stay there.

Worth it
Liked: The hotel is situated in a good location, a few steps from China Town and a 15min walk from the old town.The room was clean and warm; you can see signs of wear, but not too bad.Breakfast is very basic, but a good option to start your day.The staff is very friendly and helpful.For the price you pay- 100% worth it.

Liked: The hotel has a high value compared to similar options. Everything seems better than the average ratings on Booking.com, in my opinion. There’s clearly a lot of effort being put into improving the hotel’s standing. The room was spacious and very comfortable

Liked: We like the location and the breakfast.What we don't like was the room, it was very dimmed, and the bathroom was very old, rusted, and needs more cleaning. There's also 1 receptionist guy in the evening who doesn't want to accept the cash payment for the detergent soap and he said he will just charge at our room as he find it more easier, but my friend told him that the room is not under hers but he still insisted. Also 1 thing disappointing they didn't refunded me atleast 1 night of my stay as I have booked here for 9 days, because I made an early check out 2 days prior my actual check out, due to an emergency back in our country,, I have only used 1 night from my last 3 nights booking March 20 to 23, so I still have 2 nights left, the receptionist helped us checked if we can refund even the last day only, since we are leaving on the 21st, but apparently the manager from the room where the receptionist went in declined the request, it is really quite disappointing as I have chosen this hotel for all my 9 days stay in Montréal. No consideration at all even if I have booked to this hotel 3 times, when we arrived Canada March 14, when we came back from Quebec City, March 17 we still returned to booked at this hotel and even when we changed the room from 3 adults to room for 2 adults on March 20 , because 1 of my companion left on the 20th , and I still paid the room until March 23.
