Liked: Good points about this hotel..Very glitzy inside the lobby,Great location for the centre of Dortmund which had lots to see,I stayed with my daughter and we went to Borussia Dortmund game, the stadium is a 36 minute walk which is doable, gives you time to have a look around whilst on the way to the ground.The hotel was very clean.Bed was comfortable although a little firm.
Disliked: The one pillow they give you is like a pancake, impossible to get comfortable on. So ask for extra or take yours from home.Remember to hang the tag on the door to say you want the room made up, if you don’t your room will stay as it is, I was not told this on arrival.My mattress was damp, after laying there for 10 mins I could feel my bed clothes were getting damp, goodness knows what I was laying in. I got up in the night and flipped the mattress over.Breakfast was not worth the money €12 so avoid that.The worst part I felt was on the last day we were waiting in reception for our taxi (it was a 1 hour wait) there is a bar in the lobby and a member of staff was making cups of coffee from the machine at the bar, I asked if we could get a drink for myself and my daughter to which I was told no the bar is closed while the staff member then walked off with cups of coffee for the people behind the reception bar!I mean how hard would it have been to make us a cup or even offer a bottle of water from behind as we were paying guests for the weekend?This I found quite upsetting and rude.

Disliked: the bed was awfull and the dusche was not really good it kept falling

Liked: The hotel's location is more than wonderful, suitable for every tourist. As soon as you leave the hotel, you will find a street of shops with the largest brands and trademarks, cafes, restaurants, and everything is close to the main train station.

Liked: The 4th room we were offered was finally warm and fine - even good. Also the breakfast was good.
Disliked: The E-side rooms that were offered were freezing cold with cold radiators. We were offered two other also cold rooms in the same E- side. There was also renovation ongoing with strong smell of paint. The E-rooms were also very worn out and smelly.Because of the coldess we were finally given a "normal" not E-room. That room was fine and warm enough.
