Comfortable hotel for extended stays.
Liked: Hotel Europejski is within a 10-minute walking distance to all major attractions and restaurants in Rynek.My room was very quiet; no street noise, no loud neighbors. It was perfect.Front desk stuff was always available in case I needed anything.Cleaning service was very reliable.
Disliked: I can't think of anything that did not meet my expectations.It would be nice if I got a free taxi from Booking.com like I did couple months ago.It would be even better if Hotel Europejski offered "the longer you stay, the cheaper it gets" deals.I always stay for 2-3 weeks.

Disappointed.
Liked: The best thing is the location, it's in the very center of the city, very close to the train station. Also the size of the room seemed bigger than declared, which is nice.
Disliked: First of all, the hotel appears very old, with visible signs of aging throughout. However, I wouldn’t say this was the worst aspect, as the photos provided reflect much of it, so you know what to expect to some extent.The room itself was disappointing. It was somewhat dirty; the carpet had noticeable stains, and there was an unpleasant odor. The lighting was poor and very dim, including the so-called "main light." The bed was uncomfortable, with the mattress sliding around every time I moved. One of my windows was missing a curtain, making it impossible to fully cover the window, which was problematic for both privacy and sleeping comfort.Additionally, it was quite noisy at night, but that’s somewhat expected given the hotel’s central location.The breakfast was particularly disappointing. The food quality was very poor, with some "hot" dishes clearly having been reheated multiple times. Certain items even smelled off. I would strongly recommend skipping the breakfast option and eating out instead.Given the price I paid, I expected a significantly better experience overall.

Not recommended, my booking was...
Disliked: I booked a room at Europejski Hotel 1 month before my stay. I received a communication from the hotel less than 1 week before my stay saying that for some reasons (not detailed), they cannot accomodate me and that they have rebooked me in a nearby hotel. This other hotel was effectively close and the location similar BUT it was clearly not the hotel I'd have chosen.When I booked, I asked for a quiet room not on the street side; here I got a room on the street side, they say that as it was in the higher floors, it would be OK. It was not, I could hear traffic and trams very distinctely and the furniture was trembling when a tram was passing... I could also hear what was said in the next room and of course in the corridor. Breakfast was kind of basic and exactly the same everyday. If you don't ask specifically for it, the room is not cleaned. The first day, I asked for it and they only emptied the bin, change towels and renew the bottle of water, there was no cleaning done, the bed was not made, the dirty glass and mug were untouched. The second day, I asked again for the cleaning but nothing happened ! All the staff are very young, they looked more like students than professionals. In conclusion, I booked in a 3* hotel but it is clearly not what I got.
