The perfect start to your...

Liked: A beautiful boutique hotel that has thought everything. Such a treat not to have a soulless hotel room, instead a beautifully decorated room that instantly lifts your weary travel spirits! We had a room facing the canal, and there was no traffic noise. Having plenty of relaxing area in the luxurious lobby, with tea and coffee available, was a great touch. Walking distance to all the attractions, and underground station.

Wonderful, with small reservations

Liked: Very good breakfast. Amazing location. Pleasant staff. A small room beautifully presented. Wonderful to have an elevator and a perfect setting.
Disliked: In a small room the amount of dressing on the bed, eg cushions, heavy quilt etc took up far too much of the very little floor space. Ridiculously meagre storage, not a single drawer. Just fabulous decor. Also my one small complaint about shutters not working had zero result. Lovely hotel but too much window dressing versus quality service.

Liked: Beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The staff is amazingly welcoming! The rooms are beautifully decorated and quiet. All the extra touches you need with treats in the lobby. Would come back again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful boutique hotel with great...

Liked: The hotel is in a wonderful location. Check in/out was a breeze! They even held our luggage for a few hours before check in and again after check out a few days later. The lobby cats were an added bonus :) The staff was helpful and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed conversations with the bartenders (Joep & Jason). They were very professional and knowledgeable. Would love to stay here again if we come back to Amsterdam!

Great location, quirky property &...

Liked: Good location, fairly helpful staff.
Disliked: Room 208 was not representative of what appeared on booking.comShabby, very small, not super clean. Didn't have a separate bathroom but a sink right by front door and two very narrow, tight glass "cubicles" for toilet and shower. There was barely any storage room, the space was cramped, and the wardrobe was tiny. There was also meant to be a small fridge, there wasn't. All the room offered was a small box that barely fit two small water bottles and wasn't in any way cool. It was also noisier than I would have liked, and not from the outside (room faced canal). Most noises came from within the building.

Amazing stay in the heart...

Liked: Location is by a canal and really beautiful area of Amsterdam. Area does get crowded during the day due to tourists. There is free beverages and cookies on offer throughout the day.
Disliked: The property has steps leading to the entrance which makes it a bit difficult for the luggage. The lifts are slow

Liked: Really lovely stay. Hotel was unique and styled immaculately. The extras (amenities, bar, restaurant) were on point. Staff was above average, favorite place we stayed on over our trip.
