Lovely traditional hotel in a...

Liked: Central location overlooking canal . Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and beautiful decor. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Free coffee and biscuits in the lobby was a lovely touch.
Disliked: The measures in the drinks from the bar were very small and the cocktails we had one evening were in a lovely long glass .... however the next evening the same cocktails served in a small glass .... almost half the measure!

Liked: It was unique. Quite ornately decorated and quirky. The staff was lovely. Good location.
Disliked: The shower stall was so slippery that I really thought I was going to slip and fall. That’s a potential safety issue. Very scary. And I could hear the family next door easily.

Lovely hotel in a perfect...

Liked: We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and love. The decor, cleanliness and comfort is exceptional. Its location is perfect for visiting the city sights and the beds are so comfy. All the staff are helpful, although we did not pay for breafast the complimentary afternoon nibbles in the lounge area as well as the freely available hot drinks and fresh juice is great.
