Modern and newly furnished hotel...

Liked: Perfectly located opposite the Gare de l’Est train and Metro station, providing easy access to get around and out of Paris. Amenities are modern and hotel is newly furbished.Staff were very kind and helpful. I had a delivery arranged and they promptly left the parcel in my room.
Disliked: The room is a little small and the AC didn’t seem to be working so I had to open the windows a little. But as we stayed on Level 2, we could hear the ambulance sirens and street noise. Bottled water is no longer provided but they left a glass bottle inside our room. Disposable slippers were also not provided.

Exceptional

Liked: We stayed at the Este hotel for 6 nights and will choose it for our next trip. The staff are very nice and professional. The hotel is close to the city center and next to the metro/bus station. The room was clean and modern. The breakfast was also very good.

A beautiful, central hotel, with...

Liked: - The closeness of the hotel to a main Paris train station. - Staff were so lovely, polite, patient and professional. - The rooms are beautiful with all the modern touches.
Disliked: - I understand that air conditioning is a big talking point in France, and realise it cannot be used in the autumn and winter months, but unfortunately as the location is so central, if you try to open the windows for some air while you sleep (as the air conditioning does not function) it is sooooo noisy. The windows have proven to be very well sound proofed as I couldn’t hear anything outside once they were closed. But to have them open to have any sort of air circulating, it was impossible to sleep comfortably. I was either too hot or disturbed by the loud noises outside.
