Disliked: The hotel is situated right next to a bustling driveway, and with the windows being paper thin, it can get quite noisy—definitely not ideal if you're a light sleeper.

Not recommended for solo female...

Disliked: The place was quite empty and i felt a little unsafe as a solo traveler.The shower water was cold and little coackroach on the bed. Only stayed one night.Breakfast only started at 9h00, went nack down at 9h15 still not open. So went to the hotel next door which was super nice and lively. I usely do not write bad reviews as i also work in the hospitality industry and understand how hard it can be, but i think that with a little bit of improvement Escala Norte could become a great place.

Liked: They received us after midnight without problems. It is good location if you want to be near Central del Norte bus station for an early start

Disliked: would NOT recommend. we came between flights to have a hot shower and bed for the night. We got in late and there was no hot water. We called front desk and he said he would check and that it would be back on in 5 mins. 15 mins passed, no hot water, we called again and he said he would check again, never came back to the phone just hung up. Eventually after sitting in my towel for more than 30 mins we got dressed to go down and it turned out he never “went to check” the water because this time when he “checked”, funnily enough it worked. A 40 minute ordeal and throughout it he was extremely rude and didnt care at all. The room was cold with one small blanket, the bed was hard, the pillows incredibly lumpy and the internet was slow. Overall unpleasant and a waste of money. Didn’t fulfil basic needs like a shower and a comfortable bed for the night.
