Superb

Fine hotel, quiet neighborhood, convenient...

Liked: This is a fine hotel with spacious rooms. I enjoyed my brief stay here. Location is very convenient, a short walk to the U-bahn.

Not Worth the Value; Not...

Liked: Could walk to most areas of Munich.It was in a nice, fairly quiet neighborhood.There was parking across teh street, however you need to be an expert driver to fit the cars into the scary spots.The servers in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful! Highlight of the hotel!!Excellent breakfast spread.
Disliked: I made THREE attempts to write the hotel about our issue, but they never responded.We stayed at this hotel at the end of Sept, during Oktoberfest. Upon entering our room, we noticed the air-conditioning was not working. It was unusually hot in Munich—almost 26C. We called down to the desk and the young man immediately arrived with a fan (which was really not enough). He could not change our room (the hotel was booked) but offered us some complementary drinks. He told us to speak with the Office Manager the next day, and maintenance could come and repair the A/C.The following day we spoke with the hotel manager (Asam) and he told us Maintenance was not available. We again said it was uncomfortably hot in our room and he did not get any sleep even with the fan and windows open. We were facing the street, not the courtyard. The manager was apologetic and offered to compensate us in some way, but it never materialized. No one ever addressed the A/C nor made an effort to correct the problem during the 4 days we were there.The room was not cheap—877.50€ for three nights. The contractual arrangement was that the room came with Air conditioning and an Inner Courtyard, neither of which was offered to us. They were aware of the issue, and made no attempt to fix it during our stay (4 days) and empty promises of something to offset the issue. I will never stay here again. If you chose to, know there are risks.
