Disliked: $100 per night deposit seemed a bit excessive - especially when you're on holiday! No info about this pre hand.

Perfect location for a perfect...

Liked: Perfect location, just a couple of blocks from Union Square and had great transport links to all parts of San Francisco, including the airport.The size of the room was very generous, with an equally sized bathroom, with the location having enough shops to grab food/drink, likewise for restaurants.Pre travel communication was excellent and always a cheery face on reception!
Disliked: Nothing

A wonderful, small boutique style...

Liked: This hotel has a very cool vibe. It is extremely clean and the decor is well appointed. Bed linens, pillows, mattress and towels were all top quality and very comfortable. Housekeeping was great and very friendly staff all around. I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Emblem. The location is central for convenient access to all areas of interest. We felt safe walking in the area.

Excellent location and resonable prices

Liked: Nice hotel with the excellent location. Very comfortable bed, ice bag freezers and water dispensers on each floor .
Disliked: Rooms are pretty small. It was very noisy during the night, but it has to be expected if your room faces the street

Good for a short stay.

Liked: Beds were very comfortable. Room decor was cute. I liked the general vibe of the place and the location worked really well for what we wanted to see in San Francisco.
Disliked: The big issue was the elevator. Even when working, it was tiny. Big enough for one person pushing a luggage cart. The other thing that annoyed my group was the refrigerator. It was stuffed with beer and soda that was for sale, so if you wanted to use it, you had to take all of the hotel’s stuff out first. Also, the only bedside table was littered with more stuff for purchase - water, a bottle of wine, a carafe. My side of the bed did not have a power outlet so I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room.
