Comfortable, smart rooms with friendly...

Liked: Recently done up, comfortable firm bed, great location for the Grand Palais, friendly staff, good local places for breakfast and other meals, in a highly walkable part of Paris.
Disliked: Details of room design. Room was small with a big bed. Paris hotels can be skilled at dealing with that, making efficient use of every centimetre with good furniture design etc. This one doesn't have that skill, so there's nowhere to put anything and the room feels smaller than it needs to. Also when looking out from the front of the hotel, there seem to be at least three loud refuse collections in the early morning every day.

We enjoyed the front desk...

Liked: The cute building and location. The front desk was very accommodating and gave informative suggestions on where to eat, drink, or any other shopping we might have wanted to do while in Paris. The small but helpful elevator was a bonus since all other locations we’d been to were flights of stairs.
Disliked: The room was pretty small and didn’t have a kitchen or really much room to lay out luggage to unpack. Would have been good to have a couple luggage stands for unpacking.
