Liked: Excellent hotel with helpful staff. The location was great as it was a few steps from the Champs Elysée and the metro to La Defense Arena.

Superb location, clean and comfortable...

Liked: Literally a few hundred meters from the Arc de Triomphe, close to 2 different metro stations. Whilst the rooms were compact everything you needed was in the room.
Disliked: There was some street noise which could be heard in the room - not enough to prevent sleep but it was noticeable.

Functional - Barely comfortable

Liked: The Location is close to L'Arc de Triomphe in a narrow side street located in an old building. Therefore the view is restricted to the street, but curtains need to be closed for privacy, anyway. The cleanliness is first class, however the room only has space for the bed, which dominates the area and whilst there is a chair, it's claustrophobic. You need to lean over to avoid knocking the TV when passing the end of the bed. That said, the room was just somewhere to sleep at night and not used for leisure. There is NO soundproofing! If the neighbours speak, you hear them, if they shower, you hear the water. I cannot contemplate how it merits a 4* rating.
Disliked: None of this is meant to be complaing - merely a factual account. The shower is tiny and if you want to dry off before dripping onto the bathroom floor outside the shower's sliding semicircular doors, you'll need to be extrememly flexible. Breakfast, whilst not expensive, really was basic. The coffee was either from a percolator or a "Nespresso" machine. The only 'hot option' was to ask for an egg to be done. The continental option included small croissants and nutella sachets or a spoonful of preserve from a jar. There was a selection of cheese, ham and fruit & yoghurt.
