Ok, not worth the price

Liked: Breakfast ok. Coffee water-y. Charged $12 to add espresso to 3 cups of coffee to make it flavorful!
Disliked: Coffee, lack of amenities, worn furniture, soft mattress, some uncaring staff.

Liked: Daniel was super friendly on the front desk and very helpful.Loved the fire pit and the pool area.Room was very comfortable, building is beautiful and location is excellent.
Disliked: Pool was cold water which is not for everyone but I am sure it works in Austin summers.The valet parking is expensive.

Charming boutique hotel close to...

Liked: Cute boutique hotel in an awesome location right off MLK and the Drag. Two blocks from decent Pho restaurant. Easy to get in/out with valet app. Staff was friendly, responsive and helpful especially Cory at front desk! Small fridge in the room was a bonus. Room was good size too - stayed in the double queen. Didn’t get to try the Goodall Kitchen but heard it’s good.

A lovely, quiet stay.

Liked: Historic building is a hidden gem.

Very poor

Liked: This hotel is definitely overated. Price of a room is for a 4 star hotel but instalations are much lower and staff is almost inexistent. The reception ia small desk with only 1 person on duty and where you find a sign that reads: I WILL RETURN SHORTLY. You enter the hotel by the ground floor rooms which are in a different building then the lobby and restaurant. This hotel is similar to a Holliday Inn which runs with very little staff. Even If it is raining you have to exit the hotel to get to your room.
Disliked: liquid soap
