Liked: The check in was quick and front desk staff was very friendly. Also i had a minor request regarding an extra blanket and it was handled promptly and efficiently. There was plenty of free parking available. The location of the hotel is convenient, close to beach and other spots. Would surely stay again!

Dirty & outdated. Kind staff.

Disliked: When we first arrived our room was very dirty (room 119). There were clumps of hair on the shower walls. It looked like someone had used a hand towel and bunch of black crumbs on the sink. The room also just felt very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. It’s very very rare I do this but I actually went to the front to ask for a refund to stay elsewhere just because it was dirty and just needed A LOT of work. Another family who checked it right before me also ended up leaving and staying elsewhere with their family. The gentleman working the front did offer us 2 different rooms to stay in right away and we ended up staying in room 126 which was better. He was very kind for that. This place just needs a lot of TLC. The carpets are really old and stained, there were splatters of dried liquid on the TV, the window curtains didn’t close all the way so we had to put a chair against the wall to keep it closed, & no extra security lock on the door. Overall, if you just need a room for the location this one works. The staff is kind and it seems like they’re trying their best to upkeep this place but it’s just very outdated and needs lots of deep cleaning.

Liked: So far the best budget hotel we stayed in Tahoe. The room we got was clean and super comfortable. The staff made us feel just like home. The location was great as well close to everything. Highly recommended!
