Liked: Very clean and modern hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Having a bakery, coffee shop, restaurant and bar on premises was wonderful.

I would definitely stay here again if we are in town.

Liked: Hotel was very close to the venue were visiting; staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The lounge closed at 11:00PM.

When we booked the room via ConcertHotels.com, the listing said the hotel was .6 mile from the Wonder Ballroom ; I'm pretty sure it was more like 1.2 miles (a fairly long walk - especially the walk back, after the concert).

Liked: The hotel itself wasn't bad; the building is old but reasonably well maintained. The staff were friendly; parking was convenient; the price was reasonable - or it would've been, if we had gotten any sleep!
Disliked: The room we had was awful. It was a corner room on the 3rd floor, right above a main MAX lightrail stop on Grand Avenue. The sound of the MAX trains arriving and departing every minute or so was incredibly loud and jarring, and it seemed to go on pretty much all night (although the intervals were farther apart). Also, the bed was too soft and there was a stain on the bedspread. Worst night's sleep ever.

We stayed at the Red Lion to attend a concert in Portland (Aladdin Theater). Not only was it close to the venue, it had an amazing restaurant and lots of bars close by.

Liked: Clean and really comfortable beds.

We had a comfortable stay in our room and a great breakfast in the cafe. Our waiter was top notch. His care to our specific needs was outstanding. Our room was clean and comfortable. The housekeepers were friendly and kind. We will certainly stay here again when we come to the city.

Liked: Staff and Cleanliness

Liked: Close to the Rose Garden and the rooms were nice.
Disliked: The Amtrak was loud while trying to sleep.

Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff

The price is great for clean comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff. Internet/ computers and printer in the lobby. Windows lounge is convenient and serves good food (and a tasty happy hour). Also close by are Starbucks, Denny's, Red Robin and Burgerville as well as a stop for the Portland free city car.

Liked: Clean, comfortable room, comfy beds and pillows, great staff - at desk and housekeeping, decent fitness center, tasty deals for a great price at Windows Lounge Happy Hour on the 6th floor!
Disliked: East side of hotel has alot of street noise
