Enjoyed our stay in the...

Liked: Good location. Nice choice at breakfast well cooked. All staff friendly.
Disliked: I was asked at check in if I would go eco so the room would not be cleaned during our stay. No problem with that so I agreed and as a reward got a drinks voucher to use at the bar. First day room not cleaned as agreed 2nd day the room got cleaned and the voucher which was still in our room was removed. 3rd day room was not cleaned. Maybe this was just a breakdown in communication but seemed underhanded.

Lovely comfortable stay in beautiful...

Liked: Beautiful hotel in city centre with secure parking (£15 charge). Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Beautifully decorated room with very comfortable bed. Lovely relaxing bar and excellent breakfast. 2 free drinks at the bar since it was a birthday break was much appreciated.
Disliked: No robes in standard double but perhaps these are provided in the more expensive rooms. Delay at check in due to computer issue. Not a big problem for us.

Disliked: Bathroom facilities. Sink v poor drainage and water not hot. Bath and shower taps only accessible by standing in the bath as shower screen blocks access to them!?!

Liked: Very friendly helpful staff. Reserved car parking space.

A great base to explore...

Liked: Lovely old building. Big comfy bed. Great location in central Winchester.
Disliked: The heating was a bit primitive. Room service breakfast was very basic. The shower was just over the both, which had a very high side to climb over.

Disliked: Only slight gripe was loud music somewhere until late and started early. Could only really hear the bass from the Courvousior Suite and it didn’t spoil our stay
