Beautiful suite in beautiful location

Liked: Lovely central location but still peaceful. Beautiful suite. Very helpful, friendly reception staff
Disliked: The only thing that was slight less than excellent was one of the breakfast staff this morning, who forgot about us and seemed irritated when we went to find them to try and place our order. (Also was disappointed there wasn’t any bread selection only sliced bread to toast.(

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was wonderful - big and beautiful. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Breakfast was very poor, not what would be expected of Hotel Du Vin. The carpets throughout were stained/dirty/very old-looking.

An elegant, spacious, and peaceful...

Liked: We had booked two deluxe rooms but accepted an upgrade offer to junior suites which were more spacious and had better views. We also celebrated with 5 of our invited friends with a champagne afternoon tea which was excellent. All staff were friendly and super flexible. The food was delicious and service prompt catering for a mix of vegetarian, gluten free, and non-restricted diets at the same time. The elegant town centre was only 5 minutes walk away yet the hotel and surrounding streets were quiet and peaceful.
Disliked: No complaints at all.

Comfy bed and wonderful bath

Liked: The lobby area was very dark.
