Liked: Room was comfortable, bathroom really lovely. Breakfast was very good, although was asked by the same staff member 3 times if we had any allergies which implied that he didn't really remember us from 10 minutes previously.
Disliked: Bedroom was slightly gloomy, would have been good to have the option of an additional lamp so I could do some work.Sound-proofing between the rooms was dreadful - could literally hear a teaspoon being put down from the adjacent room (the occupants weren't noisy, but could literally hear everything). I thought someone was actually taking a shower in my bathroom, when if was either a room above or next door.Lift was out of service - this should have been communicated in advance and could have easily been added to the numerous emails sent offering me a room upgrade. A member of staff did kindly carry my suitcase up to my room, but given that I had knee surgery recently, it would have been helpful to have advance warning of the multiple flights of stairs
