Nice hotel but it seemed...

Liked: Staff were excellent. Bathroom was nice too.
Disliked: Lighting in room - two light bulbs gone and not changed despite letting reception know. This made the upstairs bathroom very dark. Breakfast, whilst very good, was very expensive. Also, whilst we opted to not have room serviced, we had to keep asking for milk, teabags etc. This should have been done.

I had a great stay...

Liked: From the welcome at reception to the ladies who serviced my room the staff were warm, friendly and helpful.The room was spacious and well presented with black out curtains and a king bed with quality linen which made for quality sleep and a thoroughly relaxing stay.The hotel also has a large private snd secure car park which is a bonus in York albeit for an additional daily charge.
Disliked: Nothing
