Another pleasant stay in the...

Liked: The room was very nice, and a god size, and the bathroom was excellent.
Disliked: The internet was a good speed but the in-room media (TV) was limited. The view was not as nice as when we stayed in the Belle Epoque but the pricing is the same. The parking was also disorganised. (We almost lost our space despite having paid for it.)

Disappointing especially dining experience

Liked: Very nice old Georgian listed building with a lovely view of the garden. Bathrooms nicely decorated with decent shower. Mattress and bedding very comfortable
Disliked: Facilities not in tune with 21st century needs. Only ONE single socket hidden underneath desk for all charging needs. Noise from adjoining rooms very loud.

Second time we have stayed...

Liked: It’s a genuinely lovely hotel. This is the second time we have been there and we will definitely stay again. Lovely warm and inviting hotel with exceptional staff. There is genuinely nothing about the hotel we could complain about. We stayed in the summer when it was 31 degrees and the room was comfortable and cool. We stayed in February when it was 3 degrees. The hotel and room was warm and inviting.
Disliked: Nothing.

a nice hotel with good...

Liked: nice room, good shower, pleasant helpful staff, attractive hotel, convenient for town centre, good breakfast
Disliked: check in a bit slow, bar area is small so initially could not get a seat when we went for a drink before supper, had to book parking in advance and had to pay for parking, rooms have names instead of numbers so took a while to find ours

Very good

Liked: Location and decor of the hotel.
Disliked: The barman very noisily cleaned up the bar at 10pm (perhaps as a hint that we should leave as we were the last people in the bar). The restaurant staff kept filling up wine glasses which already had more than enough wine in them (perhaps in the hope that we would drink more). The heating in the room had not been switched on prior to our arrival on a very cold day.

A lovely peaceful stay in...

Liked: Lovely room overlooking the gardens. Very welcoming reception team, all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money for a hotel of this caliber and a fabulous central location with parking was a bonus
Disliked: Just a couple of minor things; no robes and no dressing table mirror.
