Excellent, warm & cozy pre-Christmas...

Liked: Huge room and bathroom, excellent value and the staff were kind enough to reserve me a parking space right outside as I have some mobility issues
Disliked: Carpets throughout are looking dates

Liked: A very nice hotel in a great location.

Overnight Stay at Hotel du...

Liked: Check in at reception was very good as was onsite parking instructions. Room was very good. Restaurant staff were very attentive, meal selection & quality was very good as was breakfast which was excellent.
Disliked: Only one chair in the room would have expected two given it was a double room.

Lovely hotel but be price...

Liked: It was in an excellent location and the building and rooms had space and period charm. There was a warm and attractive atmosphere - especially in The Bistro. Breakfast was excellent. The Staff were pleasant and professional.
Disliked: We had to pay an exorbitant premium to stay on a Saturday night in December which made 'value for money' very questionable. If that was the standard rate, I would say that it was definitely not worth it. Luckily, during normal times, the price seems reasonable. I have to admit would not stay again at the price I had to pay.

Liked: Location, room size and friendly staff. Plenty of on street parking nearby. With the appy parking app I was able to park for 99p as I wasn’t a frequent visitor.
Disliked: £40 rate for two dogs seems excessive, although I was aware of this prior to arriving as I’d rang the property previously. Other properties have always charged £25 per stay for the two dogs. For the £40 we received a bed each and a dog bowl which they appreciated. No treat boxes :(
